Our daughter Allison is in Living Hope, a singing group for Holland Christian. One of the songs they sing is from Isaiah 35. I challenge you to read that chapter. I can not finish it without tears streaming down my cheeks. We, as a family, have adopted this chapter for the year. "Strenghten the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way; say to those with fearful hearts, "Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, He will come with a vengeance; with divine retribution He will come to save you." Then will the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped. Then will the lame leap like a deer, and the tongue of dumb shout for joy." My favorite part in that my God, my God will come with a vengeance!!! I do not know what you are going through. We are all starting into a desert, in a desert, or coming out of a desert to only go back into another one at some time. But, your God WILL come! and He will come with a vengeance!

  1. Thank you for this reminder that God is here for us and he comes with a vengeance. I love these words. So many emotions come up when I read this passage. His promise is so great! Almost unfathomable.

Thank you so much for allowing your lives to be stretched more yet last night. I know that is a leap of faith for you but God has done and is going to do great things through Tim's story! You all did such a good job and God was definately glorified!

We promise to cover you in prayer today and in the weeks ahead as you face this difficult challenge! May you feel God's blessings each day as you travel in this storm.
